The Citabria (aerobatic backwards!) are the backbone of our training fleet. The Citabria has two seats and a tailwheel undercarriage. Learning to fly a tailwheel aircraft is like learning to drive a manual car. You need to give it your full concentration, but it will make a real pilot out of you.
The Citabria is a great aeroplane to fly and makes an ideal basic flight trainer. We highly recommend that you complete your primary flight training in this aeroplane. We also hire Citabria aircraft extensively for tailwheel and aerobatic endorsement training.
The ACA Super Decathlon has joined our aerobatic training fleet and we are super excited for you to experience its acrobatic-like capabilities. It’s a tandem two-seater, tailwheel, dual-control light aircraft which is the perfect aircraft for aerobatic and tailwheel training, and super fun to fly.

The Cessna 182T is fully IFR-ready with a 235hp engine. Cessna 182s are our most popular choice when people want to travel or fly charter around Australia. With all the comforts of a Mercedes-Benz, four people can enjoy the scenery with plenty of leg and arm room and knowing you can carry at least 5 hours of fuel travelling at over 140 knots per hour.

Pitts Special S2B Tango Kilo Victor (TKV) is a 1996 260hp advanced aerobatic trainer. If you’re looking for that little bit extra then this is the aircraft hire for you.
The Pitts is a custom-built two-seat aerobatic machine offering both inside and outside manoeuvres. As an aircraft, it also offers pilots the advantage of learning how to recover from any attitude (increases your confidence and skill).

Powered by a Pratt and Whitney Wasp Junior 9 cylinder radial engine producing up to 450 hp, the Stearman has a top speed of well over 200km/hr and an airframe built to withstand up to +12g and -9g. The Stearman is truly one of the most classic biplanes and most famous training aircraft of all time.
Curtis Aviation’s Beechcraft 1979 Baron B55 is the perfect IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) trainer. It’s higher performance than most twin trainers and builds the kind of experience employers will be looking for when employing IFR-qualified pilots.

Our CASA-certified Elite AT11i flight simulator is a cost-effective way to increase your flying experience and work towards endorsements including twin-engine and private instrument ratings.
Supported aircraft models include KingAir, Baron BE55, Cessna 172, Archer and Bonanza.
The simulator is available for bookings including a flight instructor for $203.50/hour.
