About the aircraft
The Stearman provided basic training for thousands of military pilots before and during WW2 and is universally loved for its robust nature and friendly handling. Our E75 was built in 1941, and has been meticulously maintained for safe and enjoyable flying. It also is fitted with a long range fuel tank and seats two people (pilot and one passenger).
Powered by a Pratt and Whitney Wasp Junior 9 cylinder radial engine producing up to 450 hp, the Stearman has a top speed of well over 200km/hr and an airframe built to withstand up to +12g and -9g. The Stearman is truly one of the most classic biplanes and most famous training aircraft of all time.
