A Flight Instructor Rating (Grade 3 Training Endorsement) enables the Commercial Pilot to move into a different area of professional flying to train new pilots. The Flight Instructor Rating will expand your aeronautical knowledge, your personal skills and your flying skills.
It is well-regarded to have on your flying resume and another way to increase your flying experience. We can also offer additional training if needed for you to upgrade your Flight Instructor Rating to Grade 2 or Grade 1.
You must be the holder of a CPL-A or ATPL-A to undertake the flight instructor rating course. The flight instructor training involves 50 hours of flight training with the Chief Flying Instructor or other senior Grade One instructor on the basic sequences associated with the issue of the PPL-A.
In addition to flying, the trainee instructor will learn how to prepare all ground briefings for student pilots completing their PPL-A.
